Surrey Regional Club

The National Jaguar Enthusiasts Club started in 1984, and very soon afterwards a number of regional areas were created for members to meet up regularly with others in their local area.

The Surrey Region formed in 1989 so we are now in our 18th year. Originally called the East Surrey Region, since that was the area where the original meetings took place, recent growth with new Jaguar enthusiasts joining throughout Surrey has meant that the meeting venues have changed to reflect this. It seemed sensible at this point to rename the Club, and so at the end of 2006 it became know as the Surrey Region.

In January 2006 we were given the opportunity to use the Members Bar at the Brooklands Motor Museum near Weybridge for our regular monthly meeting. Steeped in history, this has proved to be a popular location as it provides Surrey JEC members with a dedicated venue for the evening. These meetings are held in the evening from 8.00pm on the 3rd Thursday of the month. We usually have up to 50 members attending, though on some occasions this has increased to around 80.

As the area membership continues to grow further, those members wanting to meet for a social get together decided, in addition to our Brooklands meet, to hold a 1st Sunday of the month lunchtime meeting at The Barley Mow in West Horsley. We have held our annual dinners there for the last two years and this is proving to be a popular venue.

The Club attracts a wide variety of Jaguar enthusiast - from classic Jaguar owners, to those that have just taken delivery of their new XKR, and from past owners to future owners. If you are at all enthusiastic about the Jaguar marque, we would love to see you at one of our social get togethers. To find out what the Club can do for you, our Club Benefits page has all the information – or if you’re ready to join now, you can do so via our Online Membership Form.
