The 7th Annual “Petrolhead’s” Spring Cruise on Thursday, 10th April will once again start from the historic Brooklands race circuit, together with the now traditional “Brooklands breakfast” in the old Clubhouse canteen. Participants will then get to have a look around some of the fabulous vehicles on display in the Campbell/ERA & Jackson buildings as well as a special viewing in the Sony cinema, which is opening especially for the occasion at the earlier time of 8am. There will then be a gathering on the famous banked circuit for a photograph of all the cars on-track before setting off for the Heritage Museum at Gaydon in Warwickshire.

The Heritage Museum has recently undergone a major refurbishment together with a host of new exhibits and themed areas as a result of a £1.7 million investment. Lunch will be in the café, followed by a look around the Museum. After this there will be the opportunity to go off-road in a Land Rover on the specially built off-road circuit with in the grounds of the Museum, where skilled professional drivers will take the Land Rovers around the hilly terrain.

Finally, there will be the traditional award presentations for the “best” thee cars of the day.

This year’s event will once again be for the benefit of the McMillan Cancer Relief Fund.

Tickets are priced at £65 for the driver and car, whilst passenger tickets are £35 each.
