2007 Surrey Jaguar Day

Sun, Jul 29th 2007, 10:00

The 2007 Surrey Jaguar Day proved to be one of the most successful to date, with approximately 275 Jaguars turning up on the day, ranging from classic XK120s to the latest XKRs.

A large contingent from the Jaguar XK Enthusiasts’ Club helped to boost the numbers, most of whom arrived en masse, providing quite a spectacle along the entrance road. The sound of 20+ Jaguar V8 engines on a Sunday morning is more than enough to set heads turning.

The weather was much kinder to us than anyone had predicted, with warm sunshine throughout the day, and many of those present were able to make the most of it with walks through the Painshill Park grounds.

Best-in-ShowWinner of “Best in Show”, as voted for by members of the public, was Steve Mason from the XKEC with his ‘Emerald Green’ 2006 Jaguar XK.

Racing Green Cars – the Jaguar and TVR specialists – were in attendance with a display of classic and modified Jaguars, and Doves of Croydon brought along a much admired Jaguar XJ220.
